Generations – Passing the Baton of Faith
This year’s ONE WORD CONCERT is themed “Generations – Passing the Baton of Faith,” a prophetic call to intentional faith transmission inspired by Psalm 78:4–6, Psalm 145:4, and 2 Timothy 1:5.
At the heart of this theme is God’s desire for every generation to know Him, experience His faithfulness, and faithfully pass on a living legacy of faith to the next. Scripture reminds us that we are entrusted with the responsibility of declaring His mighty works, preserving His testimonies, and teaching His ways so that our children and our children’s children may place their hope in Him.
In a time when values are being challenged and identities are increasingly being redefined, we believe God is calling His Church to arise and intentionally pass the baton of faith through worship, discipleship, testimony, teaching, and godly example. This is not merely a responsibility for parents, but a divine mandate for the entire body of Christ to nurture, mentor, and equip the next generation to know, love, and serve the Lord Jesus Christ.
ONE WORD CONCERT 2026 will be a powerful moment of worship, alignment, remembrance, and recommitment—a gathering where generations come together to celebrate God’s faithfulness and embrace their role in advancing His Kingdom from one generation to the next.
“We will not hide them from their descendants; we will tell the next generation the praiseworthy deeds of the Lord, His power, and the wonders He has done.” — Psalm 78:4
